SimpliSafe door/motion sensor not always/never updating

I’ve v3 with two motion sensors. In the dashboard open/close sensors do update, but not always. Do the doors have to be open when the polling happens in order to register?

Similarly the motion sensors never update in the UI but they do fire a SIMPLISAFE_EVENT (door sensors don’t seem to fire an event)

Is this expected behavior?

As this integration is “Cloud polling” IoT class, yes.

I was hoping the status change would be queued up on the SimpliSafe end and then updated after polling, but I guess unless the door is open >30s it doesn’t register at all.

For the motion sensor, however something else must be going on, since I do see the events when listening to SIMPLISAFE_EVENT, but the status in the UI always shows as ‘Cleared’.
