Yesterday my provider generated a new DNS ip.
Since then I can not start my LG Horizon and Tuya integration anymore.
I removed the integrationss and try to reinstall it but no succes
I do run HA in a docker container under Unraid.
I did restart the docker severall times and also did restart Unraid.
All with no effect.
Any ideas??
DNS and IP are two different things. Start by looking in the logs for clues.
Thanks for the answer.
I did. LG Horizon integration did not give a log message
Tuya did give a timeout message.
In the Tuya authentication you need to scan a QR code and say login is allowed.
That allowed button asking permission for home assistant to use .
After accepting the integration stay in a loopr doing nothing for a long while
Timeout doing what? Feel free to share the relevant logs.
Good morning and the best wishes for this year.
I do use Ziggo (Holland) as Internet provider.
They increased there speed from 750Mb/s to 2Gb/s.
I do Use a Unifi UDM pro router having the possibility to use two WAN inputs.
one utp connection max 1Gb and one fsp+ connection doing 10Gb/s
My network was connected to 1Gb utp port having reduced speed to 1Gb
So I did buy a sfp+ connector to get the 2Gb.
After connecting to the sfp+ i indeed did have 2Gb connection. But I did also receive an new IP from my provider causing the problems above.
So I decided to go back to the 1Gb UTP WAN port this morning.
The Ip did change back to the old one.
Now is everything back to normal and all integrations are working as before
You give too little information for us to help in any way. What is timing out (what error message do you get)? Does your fiber connection work on other devices? Can you compare the WAN config on copper vs. fiber (in the unifi console), see that DNS settings and so on are correct? Can you show the IP config for Home Assistant and the WAN link (redact your public IP) when connected to fiber?
