As of my update to this version:
- Core 2025.5.0
- Frontend 20250507.0
Entities associated with my ESPHome devices are showing more-verbose display names than they were before. E.g.
This used to appear as Fireplace Relay but now it is Living-Sonoff-Fireplace Fireplace Relay.
If I go to rename it in the frontend, the suggested text is Fireplace Relay, which I find kind of comical 
Was this a deliberate change? Is there a setting to change it back to the prior behavior? I see the value in making things more explicit by default, but with 25 ESPHome devices already in play and having explicit names so they would be identifiable by default, this is a little annoying.
