Since the AWS outage earlier today my Govee devices lost connectivity with Home Assistant

They are connected using govee2mqtt and have been working flawlessly. They stopped during the AWS outage which is to be expected as most things seem to have an AWS dependency. But even though the problem has cleared up, not one of the Govee devices on my network have recovered their connection with Home Assistant.

I can still control them using the Govee app, so they are working. I’ve also done a full reboot of the Home Assistant instance. Is they some other potential fix I’m missing?

For some reason restoring to a backup from yesterday evening fixed everything. Which doesn’t make a massive amount of sense to me as no updates had been applied, nor had the configuration been updated in anyway. My suspicion is that the govee2mqtt add-on has some jank that means it can get into a persistently broken state with no obvious remediation. Restoring to a prior state thus resolved the issue.
