first I would like to thank all Home Assistant contributors which do a great job!
Now the problem I am facing, I not sure this is the right place to ask for help in case it is not, please direct me!
My problem is that starting with “Home Assistant Core 2026.7.1” (I tried also Home Assistant Core 2026.7.2) my setup is not able to manage the various Tapo Switches (P110) I have. Because of this problem I am still using the version 2026.6.4 which works really great.
I using Core 2026.7.1 (7.2 hasn’t arrived for me yet) and all my Tapo/TP-Link devices are still working. I’m using the “TP-Link Smart Home” integration as I did have some issues with authorisation some time ago, so check if your integration is loading correctly.
Also, check to see if you need any firmware updates. I tend to check for firmware updates using the Tapo App on my tablet.
Thanks for your answer.
I am used to update the devices firmware as soon as possible, so I think they are up to date.
I am afraid the problem is with the TP-Link TAPO with the new Home Assistant Core 2026.7.2.
I will get in touch with the developer.
Kind regards
Dario
