Single row tiles contents seem misaligned

Check out the screenshot. The single row tile contents seem misaligned. This doesn’t happen for multiple row tiles or on PC. Any idea what’s causing this? This is the default theme and I don’t even have card-mod installed.

Please share the dashboard type. Are you using the new Sections format?

This is the section format indeed, hence it’s the tile card.

sorry but what is misaligned here?

I don’t see what you mean by misalignment

Quick test from my iphone

They’re not vertically centered. In your screenshot they actually are - compare with mine, e.g. just the icon. There’s more space on the top than on the bottom.

Do you see the same results in your mobile web browser or just the app?

What mobile platform?

Good question - mobile web browser is all good, see below! This is Android, latest app.

I’d first try clearing the mobile app’s cache or reinstalling it. I have an android test phone and am not seeing similar results. The cache has been known to cause issues.

had to look really close and zoom in a lot… wonder how you can spot anything using that theme

Well, cache cleared, app reinstalled, problem persists. I just checked iPhone app with the same HA and all good there.

Once you spot that you’ll never unsee it.

It may be worth opening an issue here if there isn’t one already

Is it the same with other cards or just Tile?

Out of curiosity, what Android OS version?

Alright, I’ll open one once I’m at the PC. Thank you for all the suggestions!

I think it’s just the Tile card. This is Android 15.

are you sure you dont have any mods going on?

fwiw, Ive checked all of my tile cards in the iOS app, and cant find your misalignment issue in any constellation of cards

maybe drop the yaml here so we can see what you’re doing?

Aw crap, I found the reproducer now, shame I didn’t before losing my elaborate widget settings. This is related to system font and interface size, this combination causes it (font is on top). Once I make interface bigger problem disappears.

That would be an issue  Glad you got it!
