So I’ve had the same ZigBee sirens for quite some time (Neo NAS-AB02) and for the most of it they do what’s written on the tin, they are however a bit unreliable, don’t always do what I want and to be fair showing their age. So I thought as I’d had these for quite some time (years) there must be something better on the market now but to be honest I’ve struck out looking for something comparable or that would meet my needs. So my question is what can you guys recommend in terms of sirens?
I don’t have many requirements really but I do need something that can be both mains/usb powered and battery powered so they still work if power goes out and have the ability to play both a doorbell chime and alarm/siren noises. Other than those 2 requirements that’s pretty much it, if it could report battery properly that would be a bonus, flashing lights not required but a bonus, working outdoors not a requirement as they will be indoors, preferably ZigBee but would also consider WiFi or ZWave.
Any recommendations?
