SLZB MR2 as Thread mesh extender

I have to extend the coverage of my thread network that I established using my SLZB MR3 and the Open Thread Border Router and Matter Server add ons in Home Assistant. I have a SLZB MR2 and the EFR32MG21 is set in mode Matter-over-Thread.

How do I integrate my SLZB MR2 in my existing “SLZB MR3” thread network ? Thread describes it as Thread mesh extender.

Good question. I don’t think they have something similar as Zigbee router firmware, but for Thread.
