I have my MR4U powered via POE and working Zigbee (Radio 1) via Z2M and Thread (Radio 2). But when I connect an Aeotec Z-wave Gen 5 USB dongle (USB A->USB C adapter in between) the MR4U stops responding. It works again as soon as the USB stick is disconnected.
I have USB to Ethernet passthrough enabled and have also tried Autoboot both on and off. I’m running SLZB-OS 3.1.4 (stable). Should I try one of the dev versions, or is there anything else I could test?
I got it working by upgrading to version 3.2.1 and enabling “Use new USB driver” under USB settings. 3.2.4 is out as well but as everything’s stable for the moment I haven’t touched it.
I'm having the same issue on the MR3U. I've tried all the way up to v3.3.1 and v3.3.3-dev1. When I plug in the Sonoff Z-Wave dongle all network traffic immediately dies. Remove the adapter and traffic resumes. Logs also show that coredump is present.
Actually - just got this working. The Sonoff Adapter shipped with 7.2.3 firmware. It took me a bit to find how / where to update this but dongle.sonoff.tech had an web based updated that took it to V8. After re-attaching to the MR3U traffic dropped for about 5 seconds but then everything came back and it recognized the adapter properly. So far it's working, but it's only been 15 minutes so I cant comment on stability, but this looks very promissing!
