SLZB06M unreachable via ethernet

Good afternoon

I’m looking for some help. I have a SLZB-06M. I have had it for over a year but we moved in between and it was in storage so only just got it back out to setup.

I have a CUDY C200P router which has poe, and so i have plugged it in. I can see it has allocated an IP address but I cannot connect to it at all. If i ping it, there is no response.

I then plugged it into an unmanaged switch and powered via usb, still nothing.

If i switch it over to use WiFi, it works.

I cannot for the life of me work out what the issue is.

I have flashed it to the latest firmware.

have you tried plugging it directly into the router and powered by USB to eliminate issues with the switch?

I did plug it in to a unmanaged switch and powered it via usb, that didnt work either. I will try it in the C200P with usb and see if that helps

I have quite a few SLZB models and the SLZB-06M has always been my nemisis.

oh really, this is really frustrating, still not working, so i may just have to resort in using the wifi option

Can you access the SLZB dashboard with the IP or http://slzb-06m/ ?

If so what is the connection mode?

I think it is knackered.

The only way i can connect to it is via its own wifi and ethernet was selected. I have just changed it back to WiFi and as said, i can connect to that ok. I connect to it via the IP Address.

I think you are right. You’ll find a bunch of my older posts directing folks away from the SLZB-06M

What would you recommend?

Are you using Z2M or ZHA?

I perfer the models with a Texas Instruments chip.

SLZB-06xU ( SLZB-06P10U) is a beast

I have the dual radio SLZB-MR4U that works well, then you can add Thread as well
