I recently sent a system to a user who has an SB-B20, and because of the latest update (which added the SB-HS20), the SB-B20 no longer seems to be compatible. I’m trying to find this model so I can reverse-engineer it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ve been trying to build a DIY ESPHome solution myself but ran into some reliability issues, so a pre-built solution that connects to the original connectors (no cutting/splicing) sounds ideal.

There was no need to open up the engine that much because I’m connecting to the connector linked to the screen—just make sure you have it, though:

And @Jenno666 and @dorr14 The problem stems from an incompatibility between my latest firmware and your SPA. I need to get my hands on your model to figure out what’s causing the issue. Until then, I can’t send you the system.

@PaTiTan you might struggle getting hold of it because it was Aldi that sold it so I believe it was a model just for them. There is five wires that go from the screen to the pump but they are in coloured so was going to cut them probe then find the ground find the live and connect them into the module
