Smarthings and missing functions on air con

Hello all, I’m new to HA and started playing around with it.

An issue I’ve found is that Samsung Smarthings integration doesn’t work properly. I’ve read about the token changes lately, but that should be fixed with the login now.

So… I have two air con units, connected with the Samsung gateway (can’t remember the name). Registered on Smarthings on the phone, works perfectly.

Added on HA, firstly they worked, now there’s no chance in hell, but I still see the temperature and consumption. I’ve tried deleting the account and adding it again but no luck. And also, I am now missing the cool functionality on both, it doesn’t show up as an option.

Any idea?

Please give some details about config and so on, as I know my way around computers but am new to HA.

Can you elaborate on what worked before and what doesn’t work now? I am missing some context to properly give an answer for this :slight_smile:

Hey! Before I could control them, on/off, temperature control, could change the operation mode between heating, cooling, dehumidifier, and vent only.

Now simply it doesn’t work at all, and the cooling option is gone.

Joostek had to completely rewrite the integration because st hosed everyone.

Yes a few functions may havenotade it through first pass.

What Joostek is asking is

EXACTLY what make and mode(model number firmware etc.) isn’t working and what functions (list them)

Else they have no clue what to fix.

You need to get detailed.

Like so far I have seen a ton of ACs that seem to work and most of the start up issues have been resolved, so I am interested to what you see works and what doesn’t work.

Anything can help, like screenshots

Oh never realized you were the one behind this masterpiece. Thank you for the integration! It’s really easy to use.

While playing around, I’ve deleted them and added them again via my phone, and it asked me some more info.

Now they seems to work fine.
