SmartSetup MS0QPUS Outlet

I searched and couldn’t find any posts here about this device yet.

This is an in-wall dual power outlet, plus USB A and C ports. All 4 ports can be controlled by Home Assistant. It does not however do any kind of energy reporting.

Manufacturer’s page: Matter Over Thread Certified Wall Outlet With USB A and C MS0QPUS – SmartSetup
Amazon store page: SmartSetup Outlet (Matter), USB C and A, App & Voice Control, Thread, Works with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, 100% Privacy, Requires Thread Border Router - Amazon.com

I was able to add it to Home Assistant without any issues. And it can control all 4 ports. It also appears to be functioning properly as a router, and a number of other sleepy end devices are connected to it.

The only problem is the data reported in Home Assistant. It’s reporting a device type of “Unknown” instead of “Routing end device” and instead of reporting the correct Network Name it says “7,620%” whatever that is.

But aside from those two data fields it seems like everything is working. Anyone else have any experience with this device?

Because I’m new here to the forums it wouldn’t let me attach more than one image to my initial post. So here’s a picture of the network visualization, showing a bunch of sleepy end devices using this outlet as a router.
