Very novice HA user, more experienced SmartThings user.
In the process of setting up the integration to bring SmartThings into HA.
One basic question I have:
I was able to connect the integration today, no issues. All of my ST devices are showing up in the HA overview. After setting up the integration, I saw that I had a few devices in an old “room” in ST. I went into ST and renamed the devices, moved them to a different room, and deleted the old room. I can’t seem to get HA to update. I’ve reloaded the ST integration, rebooted HA, and even went so far as to delete and re-add the ST integration. The names of the devices have changed in HA correctly, but they are “stuck” in an “area” (HA’s equivalent of a ST “room” I guess) in HA which doesn’t exist any longer in ST. What am I doing wrong?
What is the necessary way to keep ST and HA aligned if I make changes in ST in the future?
