SMLight SLZB-06M sticks can't check for updates

I keep getting errors on all my smlight slzb-06 and slzb-06m when using the UI to check for updates:

“Error fetching firmware information
Check your network!”

Going to the smight firmware page, it starts to render and then a big 404 error shows up. Things are working mostly well with 2.9.4, but the fact I can’t check for updates shows there is a problem sowmehere…

Any ideas as to what my problem is? The sticks do have Internet access.

Is there a web page somewhere with an update I can download and manually load into the stick that fixes this?.

Power cycle it.

That doesn’t fix the problem.

Having the same problem with a SLZB-06P7.

Tried the web flasher with a USB A to C, and that doesn’t work either. Drivers are installed, and the device is recognized in Device Manager.

When I manually connect to smlight.tech/flasher, some text initially shows up then immediately shows a 404 page. The firmware doesn’t appear to be downloadable from anywhere on their website.

Anyone know what’s going on?

The page renders for me, but there are no options to choose the right stick or firmware. It’s the same whether the device is plugged in or not.

I also tried installing the SLZB integration to possibly update that way, but core firmware and zigbee firmware versions are “unknown” despite being reported in the device info

edit:
I took a look at the chrome console and realized I had a timeout to updates.smlight.tech

temporarily disabled my geofirewall and was able to view the full page

OTA updates also worked no problem, so looks like I’ll have to whitelist their IP.

That was the issue! I had certain countries blocked. Off that the main smlight site was fine, just the downloads area was hosted on some other infrastructure.
