Hi has anyone use skycunnect with homeassiant pluged in at same as internet cable with laptop or mini pc tower and what happens will if mess up anything like bluetooth or damage the laptop at all or anything.
Why would a skyconnect damage a laptop?
As I answered in your previous post, which you seem to have deleted… no, it will not damage anything.
It is possible for Zigbee, Bluetooth, WiFi, and other 2.4GHz radios like the Sky Connect, to interfere with one another whenever they are powered on and to be interfered with by radio interference created by USB 3.0 ports.
It is best practice, and is recommended in the Sky Connect/Connect ZBT1 FAQ, to always use an extension cable for any Zigbee or Bluetooth USB dongle instead of plugging it directly into your computer’s USB ports.

HA needs an internet connection, so Ethernet cable needs to be plugged in. And a Zigbee stick is necessary to use Zigbee in HA, so needs to be plugged in. Almost everyone that uses Zigbee with HA have both internet and Zigbee stick connected to their computer (except the few that use WiFi or Ethernet connected Zigbee coordinator)
Im sorry but i am asking if i can zwave/zigbee stick plug in at same time as internet cable for mini pc and laptop and also can avoid skycunnect for homeassisnt for matter over wifi setup just setup nest mini in google home app and use matter contontiler for homeassiant.
Skyconnect is for matter over thread. For Matter over Wi-Fi you don’t need anything special, just the matter add-on and the matter integration installed.
There is nothing to worry about, as long as you use usb extension to get some distance from the machine.
Here i run skyconnect/bt/zwave on a 4port usb extension hub about 2m away from the HA machine. IT’s all fine
Im am relly worried lots thing could go wrong Can i use zigbee stick and zwave stick plug at sametime and how can matter over wifi at sametime of all this and no donot want use intnwt cable at all so what thing do i need to use matter over wifi with homeassiant

If it is internet cable, a lot won’t work with HA
So i want use zwave and zigbee at sametime but is there stick that can all this at time and elso do i just get nest mini 2 gen and will be matter contoler for homeassiant so no need for skycunnect for homeassiant right need stick recommaions for zigbee/zwave for homeassiant
There is only one stick that has both Zigbee and Zwave, and it uses for both ancient chipsets. Better to buy 2 decent sticks.
I have those, not usable as matter controller for HA.
get matter over wifi into homeassiant i thought nest mini was matter controler i found someone where it says nest mini 2 gen is matter contoler im sending the link so then you you can tell me way plese to avoid skycunnect for homeassiant
It is a matter controller, only HA can’t use it as a matter controller.
But so how do people get matter over wifi device into homeassiant then since requre a matter controler so can try agin use nest mini 2 gen as matter controler for matter over wifi with homeassiant can try all this agin let me here and without skycunnect and thanks for your help im austic and have adhd
You don’t need anything to add matter over Wi-Fi to HA. Not a Skyconnect, not a gen 2 nest mini, nothing. Just install the matter add-on and the matter integration.
