A follow-up to my earlier post about Amber Electric usage — here’s a companion tool for any Australian users affected by recent changes Solar Analytics.
If you used Solar Analytics before their ownership changed and the 3G network the fuse box mounted monitoring devices relied on got shut down, you might still have years of genuinely great per-circuit historical data sitting in their portal — solar generation, grid import/export, whatever circuits you had monitored (aircon, pool, hot water, etc.) — even though your device itself has stopped sending anything new. Solar Analytics will still let you request an emailed CSV export of that history.
This tool takes that CSV and imports it properly into Home Assistant’s Energy Dashboard as real long-term statistics, not just a chart sitting in a spreadsheet. It auto-detects whatever columns your account actually had (no two SA accounts monitored quite the same things), so there’s no manual reformatting.
Note: if your SA device is still working, this isn’t for you — there’s an existing live integration (linked in the repo) for that case. This is specifically for recovering history from a system that’s already died.

Tested against my own ~5.5 years of real SA export data across 8 metrics. Feedback welcome, especially from anyone else who ended up in the same boat with a dead SA unit.
