SolarEdge Modbus Multi with LG Battery - Missing Battery kWh Sensors

Hello, I have successfully set up the integration and it is connected to my inverter.

My Hardware:

  • SolarEdge Inverter (Model SE4000H-RWS00BEO4)
  • SolarEdge Energy Meter (MTR-240-3PC1-D-A-MW)
  • A third-party LG Chem battery (DC-Coupled).

My Goal:
I am trying to configure the Home Assistant Energy Dashboard.

The Problem:
I can see all the sensors for my solar production (AC Energy) and my grid meter (Import/Export). However, there are no cumulative energy sensors (in kWh) for my battery, for example Battery Charged kWh or Battery Discharged kWh. I have checked all enabled and disabled entities for the inverter device (I1).

My Question:
What are the correct entity names for a third-party LG battery with this setup, or is this a known issue? How can I get the necessary sensors for the Energy Dashboard’s battery section?

Thank you!

Battery entities are under the battery device, not the inverter device.

Make sure you turn on detect batteries. It’s off by default.
