SolaX Developer API for Home Assistant monitors your SolaX system through the official SolaX Developer OpenAPI.

The integration automatically discovers authorized plants and devices, creates dynamic per-device sensors, and provides system-wide totals and diagnostics.

No YAML configuration or template sensors are required.

It is a cloud-connected option for systems where local Modbus is unavailable, unsuitable or difficult to configure.
Available sensors depend on the SolaX model, firmware, system topology and Developer API permissions.

A SolaX Developer Portal account with a Client ID and Client Secret is required.

All cards are registered automatically and appear under Edit dashboard → Add card.

  • :chart_increasing: SolaX History Viewer – Fetch and chart history directly from your SolaX account without writing it to Home Assistant Recorder
  • :police_car_light: SolaX Alarm Viewer – View detailed ongoing and closed alarms returned by SolaX

Real hardware writes are currently limited to explicitly enabled EV charger controls.
Other documented control families remain safely blocked in dry-run mode.

You will also get all your plant and system data in the integration.

Cards included in the integration
We have history that you can get directly from your Solax account, alarm history, ongoing or cleared alarms, and a live view card.

Now, if you install this you probably will use the Home assistant history going forward, but this was possible so it’s integrated.

The Solax alarms are Home assistant native, so if you get a Solax alarm, you will see that in Home assistant also, without any card or config.

Live view:
If your system supports Live View from Solax, you can see 10 second updates of all data.
You must enable that in your system.
You add this card to wherever you might want to see “Live” values, and the live view starts automatically, so you do not need to even think about it.

  1. When you open the Dashboard, the live view starts.
  2. When you close the Dashboard, the live view stops after the set live view period, easy!

Ok, that’s it for the cards included.
Now, you will probably use the Home assistant saved data going forward, but it’s there if you need it.
The Live view card for you with that supported is probably the one that will be mostly used.
