I am running HA on a Yellow with Core at version 2025.3. Z-Wave JS Addon and Integration is installed. A Zooz Z-Wave GPIO board is installed in the HAY at v1.15.
I connected a SSA1 Siren Strobe to the Z-Wave network. I can turn the strobe on and off with a Lovelace selector.
I set up my first automation to turn on the strobe on the SSA1 Z-Wave device. Traces show a zha error while turning on the strobe! That’s not a typo! Zha
I setup the automation through the front end dialogue. Traces show platform: zha. I’m not sure what platform to use for Z-Wave. I have no idea how the automation dialog selected zha.
Can you tell from the screenshots what is wrong and how to fix it?
Yeah, after posting my query, I went back to the Automation frontend and discovered I picked ZigBee instead of Z-Wave for the action. I selected Z-Wave and it works fine. I read those posted docs but made a careless error setting up the automation anyway.
