Anyone using https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/google_assistant/ to connect Home Assistant to Google Home, i.e. not via Nabu Case?
I've struggled with this all weekend. Could not sync any new devices, so thought I'd done something wrong so I ended up un-linking from google home and then it just failed to re-link.
Having tried for hours I deleted the project in Google Developer cloud and created a new one, same problem, cannot link it.
Am I the only one with issues? Thank you.
What voice system are you using?
I'm not using a voice system apart from google assistant. It's just the google home to home assistant link, that isn't linking anymore for seeing HA devices in google home so I can interact with them, not voice assistant in HA.
Aha, solved, Broken entities,
Many thanks to @HoneyBadger100 for his excellent post, not found the exact entity with the problem yet, but excluding my domains one by one, left me with only the input_boolean domain blocking the linking, and I don't need anything in there in Google Home, so have left it out.
