So, as many as you, I have invested a bit into tado (receiver, bridge, trvs etc).
I have some issues with my current tado x implementation of exabird, with sudden reauthentication requests.
I’m trying to migrate fully to local and thanks to Tado X Proxy Thermostat - Temperature Control for Tado X I’m about to take the plunge.
However, since the brain of my tado network is the Tado Wireless Receiver X (connected both to wifi and wired to my viessmann vitodens OpenTherm combi boiler), and it seems a bit more complicated than a simple valve x - my question is:
did anyone manage to get the Tado Wireless Receiver X to work on another thread network than its own (Tado)?
I already migrated 1 tado x trv, all looks good so far, but Im scared to lose my boiler and its not hot enough outside yet to not be killed by wife.

LE: Solved, answer was on their website:
Please note: the tado° Bridge X, Heat Pump Optimizer X, and Wireless Receiver X don’t have Matter codes . They are essential for enabling communication between your tado° X devices and any compatible Smart Home apps, but you don’t need to add them to Matter apps.
I wonder why I don’t need to, haha… well, I will look for open alternatives next heating season I guess.
