Some covers are "unavailable", with attribute "restored: true"

I have 32 Somfy covers working well in HA. Seven of them have recently become “unavailable”. All of these seven show the attribute “recovered: true”.

Clicking the info icon in “Developer’s Tools → States” brings up a message that says, “This entity is currently unavailable and is an orphan to a removed, changed or dysfunctional integration or device.
If the entity is no longer in use, you can clean it up by removing it.”

But the integration is fine as all the other covers still respond to HA commands and show the correct states.

Any idea how to get these covers back working again? I’m reluctant to go to a backup version as I’m not entirely sure when this started happening, but if that’s the only answer, I guess I’ll have to.

It might be the covers that have lost connections, so try to make a manual activation to get them to send an update.
It might also be the receiver/gateway/hub that have an issue so try to restart that also.

Thanks. I’ve tried raising or lowering the covers using their remotes, and that works as usual - is that what you meant by manual activation? Also unplugged and re-plugged the “myLink” RTS modules they communicate with, which didn’t help either. I should have mentioned that they still respond to commands from the Somfy MyLink app, which says to me they still have their network connectivity.

Ok, then check if HA suddenly have extra devices and/or entities. Sometimes they get a whole new name and other times they just get a _2 suffix.

No joy. All the “cover.*” entities are there, correctly named, no extras. No extra devices known to the Integration either.

Then I am at a loss.
I do not have somfy products, so my help was more general with common HA situations.
Hope someone else can help then.

I think the Somfy integration made need to be tweaked by its author. Somewhere around 2022.2.1 others have experienced a similar issue, it seems. So few people use this integration, a problem like this takes a while to bubble up.

Update: thought I might clear this up by deleting and re-installing the Somfy MyLink integration, which I did. Surprisingly, the same entities that were previously listed as “unavailable” with attribute “recovered: true” are still listed that way. They all still respond to commands from their remotes or from the MyLink app.
