Somfy Tahoma V2 classic

Hi,

I’m new with HA (after a brief test period 7 year ago).
I’m trying to add my Somfy Tahoma V2 box to HA like i did 7 years ago in my short test period.
With the TaHoma I control (mostly automatically) IO roller shutters, IO vertical screens (sun shading), and IO venetian blinds. In addition, I have several Somfy IO temperature sensors and light‑intensity sensors.

Because of the Honeywell EvoHome integration in the TahomaClassic app i didn’t upgrade to the Tahoma by Somfy app (the integration retires after the upgrade). Until and for now the Tahoma box has it’s own automations (many of them based on Honeywell Evohome sensors/thermostats) which i want to keep (at least until my HA is more mature / wife-proof).

I can’t activate the local API in the TahomaClassic app. And if i choose cloud API the login doesn’t work.

Is there any way to use my Somfy Tahoma with the classic software?

Once Home Assistant is running exactly the way we want, I’m more comfortable using it, and we’re satisfied with the setup, I may upgrade my TaHoma software and migrate my existing automations to HA.If I switch from TaHoma Classic to the new platform, I’ll lose the Honeywell integration — but I can essentially rebuild that functionality in Home Assistant.

Thank you

No, I don’t think we support this anymore. If you want to use the Overkiz/Somfy integration, you will need to be on the latest version of the hub and platform.

Hi Mick,

That’s what I already suspected.
Over the past three days I’ve built some pretty nice things in HA (for my standards), with a bit of help from AI. So I’m actually quite confident that, unlike my earlier attempts, HA will stick around this time.
I’ll give it another week. If everything still works the way I want, I’ll update my Somfy Tahoma V2 box and App to the new version and start building the automations in HA.

Thanks for your reply.

Good luck! And the additional benefit is that you can use the Local API, from a quick glance it seems all your devices are supported.
