Sonoff Basic maybe flashed tasmota

Hi
I bought a couple of basic switches alledgedly flashed with tasmota
however,
No AP shows anywhere
trying to set up a ewelink account and no matter what i put as a password i just get unacceptable characters message I’ve mixed numbers letters upper and lower case and thrown in special chacters.

If it has been flashed withe tasmota , is there any way of getting them to show up as a AP on 192.168.4.1.

I could do with a few tip hints, apart from being an idiot for trusting anyone on ebay

wants a password, is there a default at start up

Why don’t you just flash it yourself?

it would have been easier
I think i’ve got it on my subnet now , it seemed to like the wifi password
and took a static address OK
So wait n see time
