Sonoff Dongle Max / Dongle-M not working as border router

I am really struggling to get my Sonoff Dongle Max to operate as a thread border router.

I followed this guide:
How to set up a PoE Thread dongle in Home Assistant | Matter Alpha

In the open thread border router log it says ‘[16:48:52] INFO: Successfully sent discovery information to Home Assistant.’ which from my understanding is succesful.

I have two addons;
Thread Open Router
Matter Service

I have three integrations
Thread
Matter
Open Thread Border Router

However when I try and add any of the matter over thread devices (i have a couple from different brands) in the home assistant android app after a long enough time i get the ‘your device requires a thread border router’ error message.

Any help?

And solved, and feeling sheepish. I will leave this here in case anyone else has the problem.

From the documentation after all that is you need to sync the credentials to your phone.
