Sonoff S31 with Tasmota not showing energy consumption

I’ve previously successfully flashed a Sonoff S31 with Tasmota, and integrated it into my Home Assistant with the Tasmota integration.

2 months later, I’ve purchased another plug and flashed with Tasmota again. However, this time I’m not getting any readings of Energy consumption. I don’t believe I purchased the S31 Lite. I confirmed my order with Amazon (this one), along with the writing on the box both say it supports power monitoring, but it doesn’t show up as a sensor on the device.

The working switch has 11.0.0(tasmota), while the new switch has 11.1.0(tasmota). I’ve noticed that in on their respective management pages the new switch that doesn’t have power monitoring says “Sonoff Basic”, while the working one says " Sonoff S31". It’s the same in Home Assistant.

Was I mistakenly sent a S31 Lite? Or did I flash the wrong version of Tasmota? Or something else?

I figured out that I had go into the device configuration page and set its Module to Sonoff S31 , and all the sensors immediately showed up in Home Assistant

Thank you for your post. I was having the same problem of no Energy data after flashing my S31.
But read your post and Bingo… There it was all along nice and simple solution… LOL
