Sonoff T2EU2C-RF - issue

Hi everyone,

I’m having some issues with Sonoff T2 RF switches and I’m hoping someone here can help.

I recently bought:

  • Sonoff T2EU2C-RF
  • Sonoff T2EU1C-RF

Issue 1 – T2EU2C-RF (2-gang)

The T2EU2C-RF is connected to the eWeLink app and works fine there.
I also installed Sonoff LAN via HACS in Home Assistant.

The switch buttons do show up in Home Assistant, but the state is always “unknown”, even though I clearly see the state changing correctly in the eWeLink app.

Is anyone else using these switches with Sonoff LAN, and did you run into the same issue?

Issue 2 – T2EU1C-RF (1-gang)

The T2EU1C-RF has a different problem:

  • It only works when I remove the glass cover
  • When the cover is on, touching the button usually does nothing
  • The LED only blinks if I touch the button very rapidly multiple times

I contacted Sonoff support and they told me it should work normally.
Because of that, I returned the first set to Amazon and ordered new ones directly from Sonoff — but the exact same issue remains with the 1-gang version.

Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know what could be causing this?

If you tighten the screws too much (to fix it to the wall), it curves the body and the glass doesn’t sit perfectly.

hi, its not even mounted to the wall. at the moment it also magically turns on the light without me doing anything :upside_down_face:
