SONOFF TRVZB measures wrong temperature

Hi,
I used the SONOFF TRVZB for a year and it worked fine.
But now it shows nearly 20 °C more than the actual temperature.
A factory reset didn’t helped.
Is there any chance to repair it or should I throw it away?

Sounds like it might be giving you freedom units. Check if the temp makes sense as F instead of C.

Since you write in HA forum i assume you have it connected to HA, correct? In this case even if internal sensor is indeed broken you can “save” device by using external temperature sensor, which will be more accurate anyway.
there are at least two options: buy any temperature sensor (i use cheap xiaomi BLE temperature/humidity sensors LYWSD03MMC) then:

  • recent firmware allows use of external sensor, so you enable it (in HA) and send external temp. value to it with automation. If needed, update valve’s fw first;
  • use external integration like “better thermostat” , “versatile thermostat” from HACS.
