Pretty new to the HA and already installed 2 SONOFF ZBMINIL2. The 3th one for some reason dont work properly. It is correctly wired the same setup as the first two. It work, trough the dashboard and the button on the device, but when i try to control it trought the regular switch SONOFF ZBMINIL2 do not react every time. I have to press the switch multiple time until turn off or turn on the lightning.
Is there a reason why you are connecting the switch back to Line instead of connecting S1 and S2 across the switch?
Thank you for the reply. I tried both ways Line to S2 and switch on S1 to S2, still behave the same way. Was following this wiring scheme.
I experienced the same with a ZBMINIL2. Seems like the relay is not getting enough power through the bulb to work consitently since the ZBMINIL2 has no neutral line to connect.
Connecting a suitable capacitor close to the bulb helped. Similar to THIS.
If the device is working perfectly on dashboard, you likely have oxidated switch. Light switches are not built to switch milliamper logic signals, they need certain wetting current to “burn through” the oxidation layer. They likely work when new, old ones are problematic.
