Hi to all!
I want to share my Zbridge-Pro mod, with a backup “UPS” battery added. In case of power outage, keeps your zigbee network (and your home security if you are using door or windows zigbee sensors) online. Choose battery size at your own (more mA = more UPS time)
Shoplist:
- 1 x 3,7v LiPo pouch battery (at least 1000mA of capacity).
- 1 x USB TP4056 charge module (some ports options, choose at your own).
- Some red/back jumper wires.
- Soldering stuff, and 15 minutes.
- Easy to do.
Some pics with details about wiring, components placement, case drill holes, etc, but feel free to innovate
Remember powering the ZB using the new added USB port on TP4056 module for now.
The modules keeps the zbridge powered and battery charged. In case of outage, the module will step-up from 3.7 volts batt to 5v to keep the bridge and the zigbee sensors running and connected to HA.
Hope It may helps!!
