SONOFF Zigbee Dongle 3.0 USB Dongle

I am transferring from ConBee to Sonoff Zigbee sticks. All has been going well as I register each of my devices with the Sonoff stick. However, matters stopped and I got an error message from the Zigbee integration saying "Failed setup: ‘NV item does not exist. OsalNVids.STARTUP_OPTIONS:3>’. Any help much appreciated.

So first question: are you running multi-protocol firmware ?

FYI…I just changed the the main category from ZigBee to Matter/Thread with a ZigBee tag for that same question.

Not a clue. If this is about MQTT; I do not have this installed. I simply uninstalled ConBee then installed Sonoff. Sorry, but my technical knowledge is limited.

So it is just Zigbee devices ?

This typically is corrupted NVRAM on the dongle. Re-flashing the firmware might help.

Yes, just Zigbee devices. Re-flashing the firmware is not in my comfort zone and this is a brand new stick. Sorry, I should have thanked you for you for your support at the outset.

Easy to do using the web-flasher

Thank you, I managed that with just minor sweating. Whilst that appears to have done the trick - I feel I need to test further. Thank you for being there, I cannot relay just how nervous that made me. I really feel as though I have been down yet another HA rabbit hole.

Hi, the iHost Open Source Project has released SONOFF Dongle Flasher add-on v1.1.0 which is basically an HA add-on version of the Web tool SONOFF Dongle Flasher, but it allows you to manage ZBDongle’s firmware without unplug the ZBDongle.

The v1.1.0 add-on is available in armv7, aarch64, amd64 architecture, so you can use it not only on iHost, but also on other HAOS installations. It supports flashing Zigbee Coordinator, Thead, Multiprotocol, 3rd-party firmware onto SONOFF ZBDongle-E (Silicon Labs MG21 chip), and Zigbee Coordinator, 3rd-party firmware on to SONOFF ZBDongle-P (TI CC2652p chip).
