Okay, like it says. I have a soundbar that has no HA integration. HA did miraculously connect to it through Media Player, and can turn the volume up and down.
Unfortunately, HA can’t turn the soundbar on and off or mute/unmute it. I’ve tried Wake on LAN and the Media Player functions for On and Off and Mute without success. HA says the bar supports Mute in Media Player, but pressing it doesn’t actually mute the player.
The soundbar has an app that works through IP control, and it has Control4 integration. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer, and they tell me that the codes aren’t public. I definitely don’t know how to decrypt the Control4 driver to look at the codes it’s sending.
Is there a way that I can see what codes the app is sending through my network? Or to view the codes in a Control4 driver? I’d really like to get the bar working if possible!
