Source_select doesn't work anymore Heos soundbar

a few months ago i made a script to change the source of mij Denon Heos soundbar tot HDMI Arc.
for several months it worked perfectly but after a recent update of HA, it doesn’t work anymore.
i tried the source_select with entity and with device but with both, it doesn’t work.
in the same script i change the volume of the soundbar, that still works.
can someone tell what to do to make it work?

When the script runs, are you getting any error messages in the logs? What does the trace show?

Interesting… I found an old bug on this from 2021, but it has long since been fixed. I know there are others with the HEOS, so I’ll have to defer to them.

I managed to find a workaround for this: with the HEOS app set quick-select button 1 to TV input and then call the following HA service:
