So my Pi is set to back up to a Samba share on my desktop (which in turn gets backed up to the cloud).
Recently - I think but do not guarantee coincident with some part of HA upgrading itself - it’s taking to saying “Network Storage Device Failed” from time to time.
Which is probably because the desktop shuts itself down when it hasn’t been used for a while.
BUT … why is the Pi trying to access the backup device when I’m not asking it to do a backup? - this never used to be a problem.
Backups still work when I do them. OK, so it’s only a minor irritation, but I really don’t need HA telling me that it can’t access the backup device at times when I don’t need it to access the backup device. Can I make it stop doing this?
