Not sure what it’s used for but see there is a sensor on a couple iPhones in the house of <phone_name>_ssid. Sometimes it reads that it’s connected with the name of the SSID but mostly it says it’s not connected. Don’t know that this entity is tied to the mobile app but opening it doesn’t do anything. Again not sure what this sensor or whatever does as not using it just don’t like things that are reporting status and it’s wrong. Thoughts.
That sensor should show if the phone is connected to WiFi and the state should show the name of the WiFi (aka the SSID is what that is called).
