SSL breaks my hassio install

Noob here not much knowledge with this so sorry:

I have Rpi4 with rasbian, docker, hassio (0.98.5) and duckdns.
When I add the lines:

http:
  base_url: https://Removedthis.duckdns.org:8123
  ssl_certificate: /ssl/fullchain.pem
  ssl_key: /ssl/privkey.pem

in the config file and restart it breaks and never comes back up.
duck dns is working and the certs were generated, the certs are in /home/user/docker/hassio/ssl

this is the only log I can find:
2019-10-04 12:20:39 WARNING (SyncWorker_11) [zeroconf] Exception occurred:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “/usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/zeroconf.py”, line 2245, in send
bytes_sent = s.sendto(packet, 0, (addr, port))
OSError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument

Port forward (8123 outside to 8123 inside) are working, I can access my hassio from outside when the ssl lines aren’t in the config.
When they are there can’t access local or remote, I have to ssh in and take them out.
Any ideas what i’m doing wrong

also getting an error from node red “502 bad gateway” I’m guessing this is related.
