How can a static IP adress assigned in the Hass.io configuration?
My router does not support adress reservation. I have access to hass.io via Samba and SSH access with root user.
Comments welcome - thanks!

Hi,
I followed Installing Hass.io instructions.
Optional - Setup the WiFi or static IP: On the SD-card, edit the system-connections/resin-sample file and follow the ResinOS howto.
Thanks for the answer!
I read the resinOs Docu. I got stuck at the point “…mount and inspect the resin-boot partition…In the boot partition you will find a directory called system-connections”.
I have no idea, how to do that. I there a tutorial available?
Take the SD card out and stick it in a PC and you can edit the file.
I’m also trying to set a static IP and found that hass.io doesn’t seem to create a resin-wifi in system-connections only a resin-sample file. Does the file usually get created for all connections types or just Wifi?
Thats it - thanks!
