Hi All,
When I searched the community forum I found info on a Stelpro thermostat but not on the Orleans heater with built-in Zigbee controller.
I reached out to Stelpro tech support for compatibility and their response back is that their unit is compatible with Amazon Echo (4th gen) and Aeotec Smart Home Hub similar to a Smartthings hub. I also found Stelpro thermostats on the Zigbee2MQTT site that seem to be compatible. Stelpro Zigbee
I would love some feedback from the community for what are the chances that the built-in controller/thermostat on the Orleans is also compatible.
Thanks.
Thanks for the Zigbee Device Compatibility Repository. I was able to find a reference to a built-in thermostat (ST-218) that is used in the Orleans convectors.
I had seen the ST-218 reference in the Zigbee2MQTT database (mentioned in my original post) but it did not say it was used in the Orleans convector. Your repository had additional info, so thanks for this.
It all makes me fell more confident that it will work.
Hi All,
The convector is received and installed. Paired with Zigbee OK but unfortunately the info shows unsuported device.
Any guidance on how to have this recognized as a thermostat would be great.
Thanks.
Forget my last post.
I did re-interviwed the device and the thermostat info appeared so I believe it is now recognized correctly.
