Stop playing Piper TTS

Hi,

I cannot figure out how to stop any speech that is being played. If piper TTS decides to play a long message, I sometimes want to cut it short. There is the stop wake word in assist satellite, log shows that it gets activated during TTS, but it does not stop anything. Should I set up something somewhere?

My pipeline is Assist Satellite with speech-to-phrase and piper for the Czech language. I’m currently trying it on a custom intent with the tts.speak action, but it does not seem to work anywhere

I do not pretend to understand all these scripts and exactly what they do, but if you look at voice PE yaml and search for the word “stop” you will find some scripts and descriptions, I would guess that one of those scripts will help.

Thanks, but I do not have the Voice PE. I am running HA on an old laptop with my old desktop microphone attached.

So I tried in developer tools and it seems that the stop wakeword and wake word 2 do not trigger any state change, unlike wake word 1, which stops current assist satellite processing. Stop wake word detection is reliably written to the log, while wake word 2 does not even register there. I must be missing something, but from this information I cannot currently use these two for anything.
