Stopped getting update notifications

My last update was more than a month ago.

Home Assistant 2023.8.4
Supervisor 2023.09.2
Operating System 10.5
Frontend 20230802.1 - latest

I have not seen an update for anything since the Home Assistant 2023.8.4 update. Does anyone have any ideas? I have not been able to find anything online to help me. Where do I start? Did I turn something off?

Whoa! I clicked on “HACS” and updated it. Then I had to reboot. When it came back up, there was a notification for 2023.9.3 waiting for me.
It would seem that if I had just rebooted my RPi, then it would have sorted itself out. Yeesh. How embarrasing.
Thank you for paying some attention to my post. I hope that my experience can help someone else. “When in doubt, reboot.”

Glad to hear it is solved.

Don’t confuse reboot and restart though. They are two different things.

Restart: restart a service like Home Assistant, everything else like the OS and add-ons keeps running.

Reboot: reboot the host device, everything stops and restarts HA, OS, add-ons, everything. You should very rarely ever have to do this. Genrally only after an OS update.
