Storage after reboot 16GB free... 0 bytes after couple days

Hey

Recently it started that my storage of HAOS fills up rather quickly.
After a reboot immeadiately around 16GB are free again.

Any tips how I can find the culprit that fills the storage?

thanks

Hard to say from that little piece of text.

Some common causes are backups, especially if they are larger than the free space available and then also logs set to debug.

is there a way to centrally see if I forgot to revert logging for something from debug to info or search everything manually?

I think logs might be plausible if they get wiped after a reboot and hence I immeatiately have again 16 gigs free.

Start by checking your configuration.yaml file for entries named logger. Default is warning, so anything with a lower log level will cause more log entries.

If you can’t find anything there, start looking in your integrations. Each one should have an option which starts debug logging. If you see Disable debug logging, then you’re currently running the logs for that integration in debug mode.

Finally, assuming you’re on 2025.9 or above, if you still can’t find what’s using the 16GB you can use storage insights to narrow it down.
