I have a nodered flow that captures some statistics that I want to store in nodered I thought maybe I could use a template sensor, but not sure how to write to one from nodered. I could use an input number but it feels more like it should be a sensor and I don’t want it to be editable from lovelace.
I don’t use mqtt and don’t much much want to set it up just for this.
I suspect I’m missing something obvious so pile in and tell me to read the docs
