Stuck at "Loading data" but works on mobile (android)

Hello.

my instance of home assistant (running on ha yellow) have today started to misbehave.
opening the web interface on desktop shows just “loading data” for a very long time.

but if i use the mobile app for home assistant on my android phone it works perfectly right away.

if i leave the web browser on the desktop at the “loading data” screen for a very long time it eventually show home assistant web gui properly.

any idea whats going on?

zigbee2mqtt addon on the left site appears to be partly misbehaving.
the web ui starts, the menus at the top show up and work but no devices is listed.

all my zigbee devices show up properly in the dashboard and work fine so it looks like a ui glitch only of some kind.
and no i dont have any filter in the device list (ive made that mistake before)
