Stuck in Netatmo OAuth Loop After SSD Crash/Reinstall – Cannot Delete or Re-add Integration

Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me untangle a complete mess with the Netatmo integration following a total SSD failure and a fresh reinstall of Home Assistant.

To be clear upfront: I am not looking for workarounds like MQTT bridges or custom scripts right now. I just want the official integration to work like it did before the crash, but I am completely locked out of the setup process.

Here is exactly where I am stuck:

1. The OAuth Authorization Loop When I click "Add Integration" -> "Netatmo", a popup takes me to the Netatmo login page. I log in successfully and get to the "THIRD PARTY APPLICATION" screen that says: "YES, I ACCEPT" / "Decline" The moment I click "YES, I ACCEPT", the page just reloads that exact same authorization screen. It does not redirect back to Home Assistant. It just loops infinitely. Clicking accept again does nothing but reload the page.

2. Nothing to Delete Because it never successfully authorizes, the Netatmo integration does not actually appear on my /config/integrations/dashboard page. There is no integration card, no three-dot menu, and nothing for me to delete to "start fresh."

3. No Ghost Apps on Dev Portal I logged into dev.netatmo.com to check "My Apps" as suggested in older threads, thinking maybe a ghost app was causing the loop. There are absolutely no apps listed there. It is completely clean.

My Setup:

  • Home Assistant OS (recently reinstalled on a Intel mini PC)
  • Netatmo Weather Station

Has anyone experienced this exact scenario after a crash/reinstall where the OAuth page infinitely loops on "Accept", but there is zero trace of the integration in HA and zero trace of the app on the Netatmo dev portal?

Where is this broken handshake living, and how do I kill it so I can just add my weather station again?

I searched 'Netatmo' in these forums for you as it rang a bell.
Maybe this recent post may offer hope?
Please bring it to the attention of the developer in the respective GitHub thread too, so people that are searching can find a solution.

Alternatively, go back to the basics.
