Hi, I just came across your post, as I to have a dBell camera.

I just started to see how to integrate this camera in my hass.io… I was having the same challenges with the live stream view… I just got it to work… Here’s my set up.

ffmpeg:
ffmpeg_bin: /usr/bin/ffmpeg

camera:

  • platform: generic
    name: Front Doorbell
    username: <<‘username’>>
    password: !secret dbell_pass
    authentication: digest
    still_image_url: http://192.168.1.###:81/snapshot.cgi?user=<<‘username’>>&pwd=<<‘password’>>
    stream_source: rtsp://<<‘username’>>:<<‘password’>>@192.168.1.###:10554/tcp/av0_0

I tested streaming to my Chromecast with a Service call, which seemed to work. The only thing is that, it appeared that the stream couldn’t keep up on my Chromecast, as it started to buffer, and then eventually I just got a blue Cast Icon on the screen.
