I have created a helper function that allows me to put in all of my subscriptions into home assistant. This way when for example my energy-contract comes to a near end I can get notified by the system and start looking for better contracts if I like.
I requested it to be on HACS, but that’s an open PR now, waiting to be accepted. In the meanwhile, you can already add the repo to your HA and start using it, happy to receive the feedback!
I don’t see a big issue, but depends on what information you store. Never store passwords of course ;-). But there is no field implemented for that. Only real sensitive data is username or contract id and that’s mostly it.
