Sudden death of mdt STV 0640.02

Dear friends.

Some days ago my KNX BUS power device mdt STV 0640.02 died. No power, LED indicator showed no light.
Switching off the fuse and turning on again the power device startet and it switched off again.
I disassmbled and saw a potential failure cause

I tried to measure resistance on appearing same parts nearby, nothing measured, no conductivity.
Is it a capacitor? What would be the technical rating? It seams it is connected to transitor mosfet U863G

Any suggestions, unfortenately I do not have electronic equipments to measure.
I would like to repair it, so that I hava a replacement available in case the new one will be broken too.

Yep, it’s a cap. Are you sure you didn’t pry it up while disassembling?

Most of the times PSU’dont die just for no reason. No short on th bus?
and that component is a capacitor it will not have any code on it. This one looks broken off by force. You will have to find the schematic to find the value of it.
