Suddenly Camera Unavailable: 404 error on previously working RTSP stream + Entity now Unavailable

Hi everybody,

I have a CCTV system in my home that uses an older analog camera system (Watchnet). I managed to get the RTSP streams for each camera, and lovelace was presenting everything perfectly…

until…

One of my cameras (camera.driveway) now shows ‘unavailable’. I know the RTSP stream still works because I can play it on my desktop with VLC player. The camera is working, that’s for sure.

But I’ve noticed that in HA the access token (and some additional info) no longer exists for this camera (but it did yesterday!). I’ve attached a screenshot.

Does anyone know what the heck happened here and how to fix it? They’re all coming from the same server, but each just has its own channel (i.e. 1,2,3,4,5). Why is HA having trouble with this one camera?

So frustrating!!

Again…these are all the same type of camera, same RTSP stream, with just a different channel for each. Channel #1 is the only one that isn’t working (driveway).

Solved. DVR was pushing video PLUS AUDIO - these cameras have no audio capability.
