Sunny Boy Smart Energy: Battery control

SMA’s Sunny Boy Smart Energy is a hybrid inverter. It can function together with a battery like the SMA Home Storage. I want to share the blueprints of the automations that I use to control the (dis)charging of the battery so it happens during peak production, maximise self-consumption, and limit the SoC while fully charging on a regular basis to calibrate the battery management system.

With these two automations, you do not need a SMA Home Manager 2.0. I do not have it.

If someone is interested in using it, I will reformat this post to include more information. But for now, the details can be found in the GitHub repo!

Hello Eleanora ,

Thanks for contributing to the community with a new Blueprint.
I have a suggestion for you. Many people who are not familiar with directory structures will have problems installing this without the Home Assistant MY tools.
Adding a MY link for this Blueprint to your top post would help them a lot.

Here is the link to make that.

In your case, putting these in your github readme in the Setup section under lines 5 and 6 is where I suggest.
